Detailed Itinerary

Itinerary to our 5-days “Best of Morocco” tour:

Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech

Airport Transfer to your hotel.

We arrive in the airport around 19:45h, and given the time of the arrival, your driver will drop you off at your hotel so you can rest and prepare yourself for the next day. Or you might want to enjoy what is left of your day by taking a walk in the city center to get to know the area and buy some souvenirs. It’s up to you.

Day 2: Marrakech to Atlas Mountains

We depart at 07:00h in a minibus and head to the Atlas mountains, stopping at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a tour around the complex. Don’t be surprised if you feel as if you are stepping into another, more ancient world, as the Kasbah has been the backdrop to many historical films, including: Lawrence of Arabia, The Last Temptation of Christ, and Gladiator.

After our break, we travel into Ouarzazate (The gateway to the desert), where lunch can be taken at many cafe's.
Our afternoon journey takes us to the Dades valley. Here we stay for the night in a comfortable guesthouse with evening meal and breakfast.

Day 3: Dades Valley to the Sahara Desert Just after breakfast, our journey takes us through the Dades valley and Todra Gorge, exploring the many sights of this region. Lunch can be taken at the cafe's in the area.
Off to the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert region for our final destination of the day, where we meet our camels to take us into the dunes of Merzouga, all the way to our traditional Berber desert camp. Our stay at the desert-camp includes: evening meal, accomodation in a traditional Berber tent and a breakfast the following morning.

Day 4: Camel Riding in Merzhouga and depart to Marrakech We get on our camels for the return journey back to Merzouga, while we enjoy our journey back through The Draa valley to Ouarzazate, over the Atlas mountains and returning to Marrakech around 19:00 o'clock.

Day 5: Today you will be flying back! The good news is that you will have the whole day to enjoy the best touristic attractions that Marrakech has to offer. A private guided tour will be provided, so we can bring your “best of Morocco” trip to a perfect end by discovering the secrets of Medina visiting the 4 biggest historical monuments of Marrakech: Saadien Tombs, Badii Palace, Bahia Palace, Medrassa ben Youssef .

PS: – The Medina Guide is available in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
